Bush Park

A few days ago, we took a little walk out at Bush park.

We found this little creek that we never knew was there. So pretty!

Brielle seemed to really enjoy the look and sound of the water.

And Dad enjoyed Bree.

"Nice flowers."

"Those are bright!"

Little flower girl.

"Someone needs to get me out of this car seat now. Seriously."

Shopping!

Got a purse and everything!

Another pic taken with my phone, so it's a little blurry.

OMSI

On August 6, we went with Grammie and Aunt Pat to see Body Worlds 3 at OMSI. It wasn't as... gruesome... as I thought it would be. Actually very interesting. There was no photography allowed in that exhibit, so I don't have any pics to post. For pics, check out www.bodyworlds.com. We got pics from other areas, though.

So cute in her camo!

Not too sure about the raccoon puppet.

Fun with Grammie and Aunt Pat.

Water is so fascinating!

Ready for science. Or naps. Take your pick.

Careful, Daddy!

Those eyes!

Birthdays!

So we've had a couple of birthdays since our last post. On July 23, we went to Nana's house to celebrate cousin Malachi's 4th birthday.

This is Kai's cake, covered with bugs. It was quite yummy, though.

Don't blow too hard or we'll have bugs and chocolate dirt everywhere!

Auntie Nee helps serve up the deliciousness.

But, the cake's over there, Uncle Chad!

One of these days we'll have to get a picture of the elusive Nana.

Then, on August 5, we went to cousin Ali's 11th birthday party.

Bree and Grandma West enjoying the festivities.

Auntie Melanie and Ali's guests.

The birthday girl.

After cake and presents, we all went to Northern Lights Theater Pub for pizza and a movie. After a bottle, Bree slept all the way through Nancy Drew.

Uh, Dad?

Apparently play time is exhausting.
For Dad.

The Safest Place

Is in Dad's arms.

Angel Girl

She just melts our hearts!

Blog Survey

M'kay, so my sister tagged me for a blog survey and, after much thought, I finally have some results. So, without further ado:
"If I Could..."

Be any hero:
Okay, I've got two. Because it's my blog. :P The first is Kagome Higurashi, from the InuYasha series:

And the second is Alice Seno, from Alice 19th:

Marry any character:
I'm with Nee on this one - I'm already married to a character. ;) But if I had to choose, I would (naturally) select the corresponding love interests for the above girls. Kagome goes with InuYasha:

And Alice goes with Kyo Wakamiya:

So I like a little fantasy. ;)

Parent any character:

Charles Wallace Murry. As scary as that would be.

Drive any vehicle:

Thestral. Because it's the new millennium and I still don't have a freakin' hover car. Or a Dodge Prowler. (Remember those?)

Defeat any nemesis:

Delores Umbridge. Then I'd confiscate her kitty plate collection!

Reside in any residence:

A castle. With moat.

Purchase any pet:

A unicorn. Or a mermaid. For the moat.

Live any theme song:
These Dreams
by Heart

Combat any villain:

Okay, this one gave me trouble because it's pretty similar to the nemesis one, but I finally decided on the Kraken from
Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest because that thing is just wicked cool!

Coin any catchphrase:

Encourage any underdog:

Kikyo, again from
InuYasha. A lot of Inu fans hate her, but she turns out okay in the end.

Recruit any sidekick:

'Kay, got 2 again. Kirara from
InuYasha:

Yes, that is the same kitty. She comes in two convenient sizes.

And Nyozeka, from Alice 19th:
Because who wouldn't want an adorable little bunny... girl... thing.

Rescue any damsel:

Saro, from
The Book of Atrix Wolfe.

Avenge any hero:

Got two again, but only because they go together. And I'm assuming that anyone who was going to read the last Harry Potter book has done so already, so this won't be a spoiler. If not, too bad. Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks. Because that just sucked.

Thanks, Nee! That was fun! :D
